EPAC2026 is about developing a regulatory understanding of the latest innovations in precision application of agricultural chemical products. On the first day we will hear from experts from key sectors including regulators from US, Europe, UK and Australia; leading researchers and equipment manufacturers; the crop protection industry and growers. The programme will bring together the perspectives of each sector and explore what is required to support precision application technologies within regulatory frameworks.

On the second day we will explore the practical issues that need to be addressed. We need to ensure risk assessments capture what is new without placing excessive regulatory burden on industry. We also need to confirm that labels convey information in a way that helps users and supports compliance and enforcement activities.

The recommendations arising from this conference will be provided to OECD and help shape a future programme of work in this area.
