Dr. Moraes is a Sr Application Technology Engineer at Blue River Technology. Her primary focus is on the critical component of the See & Spray Technology, the nozzle system. She leads the characterization, development, and validation to ensure optimal application performance and spray saving efficiency. Her work also includes implementing new features to enhance application quality, ensuring product fit for diverse market needs, and contributing to targeted application standards, including regulatory compliance. Prior to Blue River, Dr. Moraes was a graduate research assistant at the Pesticide Application Technology Laboratory in North Platte, NE, for six years . She received her Masters and PhD degrees in Weed Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she extensively investigated the impact of drift reducing agents tank-mixed with dicamba on droplet size distribution, physical properties, spray pattern uniformity, spray coverage, and weed control.
